Valid supports campaign for childhood cancer Back
In partnership with Ticket, Valid donated the printing of nearly 1.5 million vouchers for the pre-purchase of Big Macs for McHappy Day, which is coming up on August 27. This is the 11th year that the company will be supporting the campaign, bringing the total vouchers donated to 14 million.
The sale of the vouchers accounts for a significant percentage of the total fundraising for the campaign, which also includes the sale of Big Macs on McHappy Day (both the sandwich itself, and as part an Extra Value Meal), plus McHappy Day promotional products sold by the participating organizations that work with children and teens with cancer. In 2016, 79 projects by 55 organizations from around Brazil will benefit from the funds raised by the campaign.
